Release Color Senser Modue

CSB01-EP01A can be used as an evaluation board by a color sensor module which corresponds to I2C (inter-integrated circuit) interface.

Color sensor, HPM349 has the sensitivity in Red (λ p=620), Green (λ p=540) and Blue (λ p=460) each and  the module outputs each color data by 8 bit digital value .

Kodenshi Corp. has recently developed and started selling emitter and receiver integrated type encoders (part number KEF251250CAKEF302500CA), which output UVW phases signals for motor drive, incremental signal AB phases and origin detection signal Z phase.

In addition, the parallel light LED that has been specially designed by the shape of the one-piece can reduce the number of parts and enables miniaturization. Encoder Module for Small Motor control

|

Kodenshi Corp. has recently developed a terminal-integrated encoder module 'KEM-101 series', which can be connected with Kodenshi encoders and small DC motor without assembly on PCB. 

Since the integrally molded terminal, it is possible to assemble with a motor easily in inserting the module into a motor, as well as the connector function built-in, which enables to reduce the number of parts as well as the assembly man-hour.
Please use the module for rotation control of small motors.

Light receiving head amplifier PDIC for photoelectric switches

We developed a new PDIC(Photo Detector Integrated Circuit) , which performs voltage output as analog wave pattern only from AC component of receiving light signal. It simultaneously realized reduced current consumption and  high sensitivity by our unique process technology, and due to the electromagnetic shield formed on the surface of detector, it enhanced resistance against the electromagnetic noise from peripheral devices. Most suitable for the use of light signal input unit of a photoelectric switch or various optical sensors.Best suitable for the use of light signal input part of a photoelectric switch or various optical sensors.

High Sensitive Si-Photodiode for UV detection

We developed a new Si-Photodiode (HPV-1KB), which has a much  improved sensitivity to blue and ultraviolet region, and has a suppressed sensitivity in the infrared region,compared with conventional products by our unique process technology.It uses a glass cap made from quartz which prevents imparing light sensitivity.You can use it in a light signal input unit of apparatus required high detection accuracy against the wavelength from a ultraviolet to visible region.

We developed single-pixel thermopile type infrared sensor (TPKA0101SA01) using MEMS technology cultivated by silicon solid processing.

What is thermopile sensor?

Thermopile sensor is a thermal infrared sensor, which thermopile element , made by MEMS technology, receives infrared rays emitted by an object and produces a thermoelectromotive force depending on amount of incident energy. Thermopile sensor enable you to measure absolute temperature of the surface of the object by non-contacting.


Characteristics

  • Infrared sensor applied light absorption properties of silicon without using special materials.
  • Realized high-precision temperature measuring due to EEPROM carried in each sensor that retrieves correction factor and calculates by dedicated conversion formula.

Linear Amplifier IC with Electromagnetic Shield Photo Detector

|
We developed a new PDIC(Photo Detector Integrated Circuit), which converts feeble light signals from DC to 100kHz into voltage. Due to simple structure composed of a detector and a I-V conversion amplifier, reduces the noise from the inner part of IC. An electromagnetic shield formed on the surface of a detector enhances resistance against the external electromagnetic noise. You can use it in a light signal input unit of various optical sensors.

IrDA MODULE "KOI-6002" "KOI-6102"

This sensor is strong to high temperature and impact from outside, and makes distance control possible. Because this sensor is more sensitive and causes fixed data communication within in 10m, the use is suitable of POS terminal unit and printer. This is tolerant to reflective lights and external lights.

INFRARED RANGE FINDING SENSOR "ORA1S01"

KODENSHI CORP. (head office : UJI CITY, KYOTO, JAPAN President : Hirokazu Nakajima) an industry leader, now develops "ORA1S01" Infrared Range Finding Sensor which consists of triangulation system used LED and PSD. (sample unit cost : 1,000yen)
This is analogue voltage output type sensor which depend on distance to the objects until in 18cm and is more sensitive in 2cm. Because of triangulation system, this sensor is not influenced by the reflection of the materials and can depend on distance exactly.
Drive circuit of LED and PSD signal processing circuit are built in and power supply connects powet supply terminal and ground terminal so that analogue voltage output is provided which depend on distance of the objects.
This sensor is suitable for use of obstacle inspections of robots, approach inspection or hygienic non contact of the person.
In future, KODENSHI will increase this kind of products, digital output type which shifts high/low and longer range findings sensor as used for all needs. This sensor will be mass producted in June. (10 million pcs per month)

16 INTERPOLATIONS LSI FOR ENCODER

KODENSHI CORP. (head office : UJI CITY, KYOTO, JAPAN President : Hirokazu Nakajima) an industry leader in PHOTO-SENSOR WORLD, now offers KM1102, CMOS high resolving power 16 interpolations LSI for ENCODER. KM1102 has outputs digital 64edges form 2-phase analogue input signals. This LSI inputs sine and cosine signals from an analogue encoder and divides the voltage by inserting the unique size of polio-silicon resistors between 2-nodes and compensated the amplitude and comparing to the reference. Then output feeds into the logic circuit to create the digital output, proportioning with the input phase change. This parts can be used for magnetic, laser, encoder and so on. KM1102 has three types of resolving power and two types of packages This product will be mass-produced in spring, 2006.
