We developed a new PDIC(Photo Detector Integrated Circuit) , which performs voltage output as analog wave pattern only from AC component of receiving light signal. It simultaneously realized reduced current consumption and  high sensitivity by our unique process technology, and due to the electromagnetic shield formed on the surface of detector, it enhanced resistance against the electromagnetic noise from peripheral devices. Most suitable for the use of light signal input unit of a photoelectric switch or various optical sensors.Best suitable for the use of light signal input part of a photoelectric switch or various optical sensors.

High Sensitive Si-Photodiode for UV detection

We developed a new Si-Photodiode (HPV-1KB), which has a much  improved sensitivity to blue and ultraviolet region, and has a suppressed sensitivity in the infrared region,compared with conventional products by our unique process technology.It uses a glass cap made from quartz which prevents imparing light sensitivity.You can use it in a light signal input unit of apparatus required high detection accuracy against the wavelength from a ultraviolet to visible region.

Thermopile Type Infrared Sensor

We developed single-pixel thermopile type infrared sensor (TPKA0101SA01) using MEMS technology cultivated by silicon solid processing.

What is thermopile sensor?

Thermopile sensor is a thermal infrared sensor, which thermopile element , made by MEMS technology, receives infrared rays emitted by an object and produces a thermoelectromotive force depending on amount of incident energy. Thermopile sensor enable you to measure absolute temperature of the surface of the object by non-contacting.


Characteristics

  • Infrared sensor applied light absorption properties of silicon without using special materials.
  • Realized high-precision temperature measuring due to EEPROM carried in each sensor that retrieves correction factor and calculates by dedicated conversion formula.


Applications

  • Non-touched temperature control of printer drums
  • Temperature sensing for home electric appliances

We developed a new PDIC(Photo Detector Integrated Circuit), which converts feeble light signals from DC to 100kHz into voltage. Due to simple structure composed of a detector and a I-V conversion amplifier, reduces the noise from the inner part of IC. An electromagnetic shield formed on the surface of a detector enhances resistance against the external electromagnetic noise. You can use it in a light signal input unit of various optical sensors.

Characteristics

  • Converts feeble light signals from DC to 100kHz into voltage.
  • Reduces intrusion to the surface of light receiving element  by electromagnetic noise from peripheral devices or human body dielectric noise, thanks to the electromagnetic shield. 
  • Usable for a long time under battery-driven condition, because of its low power supply voltage and low consumption current.
